This class will explore how to get the most out of these advanced compact cameras. The presentation will feature Canon G-series cameras and Nikon P-series, as well as other advanced compacts, e.g. Panasonic Lumix LX-5, Leica D-Lux 5, Olympus Ultra Zooms, Fuji HS-10, etc. Topics will include: mastering exposure, advanced AF techniques, exposure compensation and bracketing, white balance, achieving maximum sharpness, and more.

Introduction to RAW Shooting & Workflow |

All Digital SLR (and some higher-end point & shoot) cameras can produce RAW files. Are you using this format yet? If so, are you using it to its fullest potential? Our Raw Shooting and Workflow class will help you sort out the differences between RAW and JPEG formats, and how best to edit and organize your photos using RAW editing software. This class will focus primarily on RAW workflow with Adobe Lightroom, but other applications will be discussed.
